Pupil Premium

At Trinity Academy, the use of the Pupil Premium funding will be targeted strategically to continue to narrow the gap between pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and those from more secure backgrounds. Pupils eligible for Pupil Premium funding are those who are known to be eligible for Free School Meals in the last six years, children who have been in the care of the Local Authority for 6 months or more. Trinity also has a number of 'Children in Need', children living with family members other than their parents, children living in short stay and temporary housing and children who live in family units that are insecure, change and are sometimes chaotic. There are also a number of children who live in poverty but are secure in loving families that are often extended. At Trinity we know our families well and we ensure that all children, who are eligible, benefit from the support of the Pupil Premium.
